APIPEC Network Projects

Enriched Image of the APIPEC Network
In November 2024, APIPEC Network is recognized as an "established" network under Interprofessional.Global. Consequently, the APIPEC hopes the enrichment of our network's image through a rebranding process.
The Lotus Brand:
-
The lotus flower (overall icon) is a prominent symbolism from Asian and Pacific Island cultures and was chosen to recognize the network's rebirth (or improvement) and persistence to promote interprofessional education and practice in the Asia-Pacific regions since 2017.
-
The heart (highlighted at the center) represents the main goal of the network which it to advocate for better health for all people and populations within the region through intentional interprofessional eduction and practice within the health and social care systems.
-
The embrace (three-figure highlights) characterizes the interprofessional practice of health and social care professions that helps achieve our main goal: better health for all.
-
The open book (highlighted outermost) refers to education and training as a transformative strategy to ensure interprofessional collaboration.
Projects for 2025
For the Year 2025, we have some projects that we aim to realize including:
-
To organize the next APIPEC regional conference in 2026, in partnership with a regional institution that has a strong advocacy strategy to promote interprofessional education and practice locally and regionally.
-
To support local and regional IPECP-related activities such as continuing professional education, health professions and medical education initiatives, research and development, and advocacy.
-
To explore the possibility of registering APIPEC network as a legal entity that will be based in the region.
